WORDPRESS VS BLOGGER: NOTE FOR BEGINNERS

Choosing a platform to start your blog is a most daunting task for most beginners. After  reading many "WordPress vs Blogger" articles online. I got to discover that differences in their features doesn't matter. You play a vital role in deciding what platform to go for

FINANCAIL VIEW 

W are not all born with silver spoon in our mouth. No one will argue that blogger is the most cheapest platform to start with. With just your email and password, voila, you can start posting. Also you're free to. engage in any monetization. After which you can upgrade your domain name server. 

Unlike blogger, WordPress free users can only post. Being it free, they place their advert (not your own ad)  on your blog. This is bad for beginners who want to make some bucks with their blog. 

WANT TO LEARN PROGRAMMING?
Blogger is the best place to start if you want to be a self taught on Web Development or  Web  design. With no cost or experience at all, you can play with your entire template code. Also the availability  of help resources online, you can start learning XML, HTML, JAVASCRIPT JQUERY and lots more.
On the other hand, WordPress (after a premium upgrade though) they will allow you to edit your edit your css. WordPress uses high level interface and plug-ins the to easily customize your blog. If you don't know anything on programming this is a great start. 

AWESOMENESS
WordPress has a professional looking websites. While many are free, the best ones must be purchased to get them. 

On the other hand blogger template are not so professional. But thank God for custom build template. There thorns of awesome that you can use for the look and feel of your blog. After all you can make one your self.
SECURITY
Blogger blogs have an added advantage of Google security technology. 

WordPress on the other hand, is not that bad. But as a self hosted platform you're responsible for your mistakes.

SUPPORT
Finally, although you are not guaranteed a reply from Google when you write to them, there are lots of resources to help. Google has low level of user support.
WordPress is a good place to start if support is your watch word. With a very active community system, they reply every mail sent to them.
